AI Untuk Rakyat: What it is & How to Enroll Step by Step

This program is for anyone interested in learning more about Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is not designed to train or turn anyone into an AI expert, but rather to provide a basic understanding of AI and enough knowledge to be able to communicate about it. The program is available in four languages: Malay, English, Mandarin, and Tamil. The entire content is compatible with various talkback applications to make it fully accessible to visually impaired individuals.

The program is divided into two parts: AI Aware and AI Appreciate. Both parts can be completed in about four hours.

The program is divided into two sections: AI Aware and AI Appreciate, and includes the following:

✅ Basic understanding of AI, its applications, and myths or misconceptions about AI.

✅ Knowledge of the main domains of AI — Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Statistical Data; its impact on various industries, AI Ethics, and principles of responsible AI.

Any smart device such as a smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer, along with a good internet connection (minimum bandwidth of 512kbps) is required to join the program.

✅ After completing both parts of the program, you will gain a better understanding of AI and the confidence to talk about this technology, which is seen as a driving force for the future.

✅ You will also be awarded two digital badges – AI Aware and AI Appreciate. You may want to share these badges with your friends and family on social media and offline.

Before starting your learning, you need to register first. You can register using an email address or mobile phone number. Please fill in all the required details except for the “referral code,” then click “I’m Not a Robot” and agree to the privacy terms before requesting a verification code. You can check the verification code received in your email inbox or via SMS and proceed with registration.

To use Google registration, you need a Gmail account or an email registered under Google Workspace. Then, you can click on "Register with Google" and select your Gmail account to proceed. For users without a Gmail account, you can either create a new account or register using your existing email.

Users who registered with a mobile phone number will no longer be able to log in after 15 June 2024. Users are encouraged to complete the lessons and download their badges before this date. If they fail to do so, they will need to re-register later using email/Google and restart the program in order to download the certificates.

There have been many issues where the verification code button appears grey and cannot be clicked. Please try switching to a different network (home, office, or personal hotspot) or try using a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Opera, or Internet Explorer).

We encourage you to change your network during registration or login. For example, try registering at home using WiFi, or use mobile data if you are in the office. Avoid using office WiFi if possible. Also, try to use your personal email address.

These details cannot be changed once you have successfully registered. If you used the wrong email address or phone number during registration, you will need to register again using the correct details.

Please log in to the portal, go to the settings section, and edit your name. Then, click update after making the changes. Please note that a maximum of 25 characters is allowed, and no symbols are accepted.

If you have completed the learning, you can find your badges on the left-hand side of the module under the word “Congratulations.” Scroll down and you will see the option to download your badges.
